Cox Lowndes County Will Book C Page 124 State of Alabama Lowndes County I, Elizabeth B. Cox, wife of George S. Cox, Esq., of said County, being in infirm health, but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, ordain, publish and declare this my last will and testament, revoking all others. Item: I give, devise and bequeath to my kind and loving husband, Geo S. Cox, all my real estate and personal property of whatever kind and description, including among other matters and things, my interest in the Estate of my deceased father ans which Estate is in South Carolina. Item: I appoint my husband, Geo S. Cox, to be my Executor, and request and direst that he be required to give no security as such Executor. Executed and signed by me, E. B. Cox on the 29th day of October, 1866, in the presence of the witnesses subscribing who sign in the presence of the testator and in the presence of each other. Witness: E. B. Cox Geo. W. Stone C. B. Lamply State of Alabama Lowndes County In the Probate Court. Before me, J. V. McDuffie, Judge of Probate in for said County, came George W. Stone, who in open Court, being duly sworn says, that he and c. B. Lamply were present and say Mrs. E. B. Cox sign an instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of the said E. B. Cox, now deceased, which instrument is now shown to him, the said Geo. W. Stone, on the day of date thereof, that said instrument was duly exhibited to them on the day of the date thereof, that the same was carefully read over by him and assented to by her and that they respectively subscribed their names thereto at the request of the said E. B. Cox, and in her presence and in the presence of each other, he further says that at the time of making of said Will, the said E. B. Cox was of sound disposing mind and memory and of full age, and under on constraint and that she died an inhabitant of this County. Subscribed and swron to before me George W.
