Harrison Lowndes County, Alabama Will Book C, page 11 Fort Deposit, Sept. 6th, 1861 Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison: You will please deliver to Mr. George Wood all of my property and effects excepting my buggy and harness of which you have the control yourself. Mr. George Wood is my authorized agent to settle up and manage my business affairs and it is my will and desire if I should not survive the term for which I have entered into the service of my Country, that all of my property both real and personal should go into the possession of my mother, excepting one silver watch which I want Moses J. Harrison to have. J. N. Harrison J. H. Rencher R. F. Martin The State of Alabama } Lowndes County } Probate Court Dec. 1st, 1862 Before me, James W. Graham, Judge of the said Court, personally appeared in open Court J. H. Rencher, who having been by me first duly sworn and examined did, and does depose and say on oath that he and R. F. Martin are each subscribing witnesses to the instrument of writing now shown to him, and which purports to be the Last Will and Testament of J. N. Harrison, Dec'd, late an inhabitant of said County, that said Harrison since deceased, signed and executed said instrument on the day the same bears date, and declared the same to be his Last Will and Testament, and that affiant set his signature thereto on the day the same bears date, as a subscribing witness thereto on the day the same bears date as a subscribing witness thereto in the presence of said Testator, that said Testator was of sound mind and disposing memory and in the opinion of deponent, fully capable of making his Will at the time the same was so made as aforesaid. Affiant further states that Testator was of the full age of twenty-one years and upwards on the day of making said Will. Subscribed & sworn to before me Dec. 1st, 1862 James W.
