E. Boyd, deceased. I, William Edwin Boyd of Selma, Dallas County, State of Alabama, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament to wit: I give to my next relations and heirs at law my entire net estate real and personal after paying my burial expenses debts and liabilities to be divided among them according to the law of descent and distribution of the State of Alabama to wit: On Sixth each to W. B. Sommerville and Selina B. Sommerville surviving children of my sister Selina S. Sommerville, deceased. One sixth each to Fleming B. Walker and Charles D. Walker surviving children of my sister Margaret Minerva Walker. One sixth each to my niece Eva, wife of W. C. Harrell and Robert L. Somerville, her brother, sister of my sister Mary F. Sommerville. For the purpose of administering my estate and dividing and distributing it among the heirs and legatees, I hereby appoint W. B. Sommerville, Robert L. Sommerville and W. C. Harrell Executors and trustees to administer without bond or security, authorizing them, or those of them, who accept and qualify for the purpose of division to divide or sell and part or portion of the property real or personal or mixed and make deeds and conveyances to the purchasers thereof. Witness my hand and seal 15th December 1906. William Edwin Boyd (Seal) The party whose name is signed to the above instrument decdlared it to be his last will and signed it in our presence, and we at his request sign our names hereto as witnesses thereof in his presence and in the presence of each other this the 15th day of December 1906. W. S. Monk A. G. Parrish I. William E. Boyd whose name is signed to the above will, do now make publish and declare this to be a codicil thereto. I hereby revoke and annul the provision made therein for Fleming B. Walker and leave the share left to him to his children. I appoint Wm. S. Harrell and Wm. C. Harrell, his father, trustees to take charge of the property, and to manage and invest it; to pay for the support of the children out of the income thereof; giving father and mother a support equal with the children as long as the father lives and the mother remains a widow, requiring no bind or security of the said trustees. In witness whereof, I hereby affix my hand and seal this the 6th day of January, 1908, in presence of A. G. Parrish and William S. Pitts Judge and Clerk of the Probate Court in and for said county, in said State, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the last will and testament and codicil thereto, of William Edwin Boyd, deceased, as the same appears of record in the record book entitled Book of Wills, Dallas county, at page 183, now in my office. Pitts, Judge of probate (Seal of Probate Court on this certificate) Letters Testamentary State of Alabama Dallas County Court of Probate The will of William Edward [Edwin] Boyd having been duly admitted to record in said county letters testamentary are hereby granted to W. B. Sommerville, Robert L. Sommerville, and W. C. Harrell the Executors named in said will who have complied with the requisitions of the law and they are authorized to take upon themselves the execution of such will. Pitts, Judge of the Probate Court in and for the county and State aforesaid, hereby certify that the within is a true correct and complete copy of letters testamentary issued to W. B. Sommerville, Robert L. Sommerville and W. C. Harrell, upon the estate of William Edward [Edwin] Boyd deceased as the same appear of record in record Book Administrators, Guardians and Executors, Bonds and Letters at page 457 now in my office. Given under my hand and the seal of the said Probate Dourt at office in the city of Selma, County of Dallas, State of Alabama, this the 4th day of September 1908 A.D. P. H.
