Sworn to and subscribed before me this 2 day of Dec. 1920. M. H. Hurt Circuit Clerk End of Documents NOTE: The Grave of T. D. Adams was located in the Tuskegee City Cemetery, in Macon County, Alabama. He is buried next to several other Adams as follows: T. D. Adams July 17, 1835 - Jan. 13, 1912 W. T. Adams July 1, 1868 - Dec. 11, 1896 James M. Adams (This may be the son mentioned in Emma L. Adams’ widows application) 1870 - 1932 Roscoe C. Adams Oct. 24, 1882 - Feb. 18, 1938 The widow’s application gives T.D. Adams’ name as Thomas Moser Adams, I have been told that his name is Thomas Dozier Adams and since in every case his initials were T. D. I believe this is correct. Mrs. Adams did not read or write (her signature is always by her X mark) and probably the person assisting her with the widow’s application “heard” Mosier instead of Dozier. End of notes.
