He was the fifth child of Arvin Joseph Bobo and Margaret Angeline (Fewry) Bobo. He was married to Beatrice Hess on May 14, 1905. Clarence was married second to Leona Sylvester on August 1, 1910.) Bobo, born Nov. 21, 1847, died January 28, 1910 BOBO, ARVIN J. - Co. D, 2 W, Va. Cav. (born May 4, 1844 - died November 5, 1910)(Military stone) (Arvi grew up and married in Zaleski, Vinton Co., Ohio. But due to lack of employment and business in Zaleski he moved to Parkersburg, West Virginia for two years, and then in 1888, he joined a group migration to Alabama and settled in North Alabama, Madison County, at a little place which came to be known as Bobo Station, or just Bobo, after him and his family. The family travelled by river boat from Parkersburg to Louisville, and from Louisville and Nashville by train to Athens, Alabama, where they spent their first night in the state. Then through the wilderness they went to their plot of land in Madison county. Arvie and Margaret was the parents of ten children.) John owned a store was a farmer and a saw mill operator in and around the Bobo Section area of Madison Co. John Pearly was the first child of Arvin Joseph Bobo and Margaret Angeline (Fewry) Bobo. ) BOBO, THOMAS D. - 1875 - 1936 Father (Thomas Denver Bobo was the forth child of Arvin Joseph Bobo and Margaret Angeline (Fewry) Bobo. Thomas was married to Mary Della Scruggs sister to Julia Ann Scruggs. Thomas and Della were married April 17, 1898, Madison Co., Alabama they had three children. Ollie was married to Lawrence Whorton Brockway, December 24, 1899 in Madison Co., Alabama. They were the parents of eight children, Bertha May, Clarance Agusta, Margaret Icyminda, Arva Cecil, Ruth Beatrice, Elizabeth Lenoa, Lawrence Allen and Fred Roy Brockway. Lawrence Whorton was born March 28, 1873 in Madison Co., Alabama and died March 15, 1959 at New Hope, Madison Co., Alabama. He is buried in the Byrd Cemetery, Richard Branum Circle, Owens X Roads, Alabama. Lawrence is the son of Francis Agusta Brockway and Icyminda Canterbury. The birth date on this stone is incorrect. According to Arvin Joseph Bobo's Civil War Pension Records she was born Dec. 2, 1879.) BROCKWAY, OLLIE A. - Mother (This stone was originally the headstone for Oliva A. Brockway. WILSON - Wife of Hugh Golightly, died February 17, Hugh Golightly and Sarah Wilson obtained marriage license on Nov. 1, 1822. They are listed in the 1830 Census but no Golightlys are listed in the 1850's census. Even though Sarah's inscription is on this marker she is not buried here.
