Estate of Polly Thompson Dec'd
Benjamin Taliafero administrator de bonis now with the will annexed of Polly 
Thompson late of Madison County in the state of Alabama having on the 5th day 
of May AD 1840 filed his report of the insolvency of said estate and the said 
report having been ordered by the court to be entered of record and the same 
having been by mistake neglected to be entered on the minutes of the court it 
is now ordered by the court that the said report be entered on the minutes as 
of that date which report being by the court inspected it is fully made appear 
to the court that the credits and assets belonging to said estate are wholly 
insufficient to pay off and discharge fully the debts and liabilities of said 
estate. It is therefore considered by this court that the said credits and 
assets belonging to said estate are wholly insufficient to pay off and 
discharge fully the debts and liabilities of said estate. It is therefore 
considered by the court that the said estate is insolvent and unable to pay off 
and discharge the whole of its debts and liabilities and is therefore hereby 
accordingly declared to be insolvent. And it is further considered and ordered 
by the court that the creditors of the said estate file their claims against 
the said estate with the clerk of this court by or before the first Monday in 
January next to be audited and reported upon by the judge of this court on that 
day at the usual place of holding court in said county and that notice be given 
in some newspaper published in the state.
