The establishments entered last night were C. E. Barnes store in the Lincoln village and the Pastime Cafe on Meridian Street. Mr. Barnes today, stated that as near as he could discover the stolen articles consisted of cigarettes, cigars and candy the total value approximating one hundred dollars. No statement could be procured from the owner of the cafe but it is understood that the loss paralleled that of Mr. Barnes. The Saturday night theft occurred at J. G. Grimmett's store on Meridian Pike, the robbers in that instance procuring a large amount of staple goods such as flour, tobacco, sugar, cigarettes, cigars, snuff and a number of other items. J. A. Hackworth, local detective, was placed onthe case and it is understood that yesterday a portion of the flour and approximatley twenty-five dollars worth of candy was located on Monte Sano.
