Mr. Beeman was born in Germany. He came to Huntsville 40 or 50 years ago and worked as a blacksmith for 20 or more years, and won public respect and confidence by his honesty, industry and skill. He was a victim of asthma, which, for a score or more of years, has disabled him to work in any capacity. His fondness for children showed the kindness and benevolence of the old man’s heart.
