Foster Brown
  Foster Brown, aged 14 years, died at the family residence, 231 A street, 
Sunday morning at 9:15 o’clock after a few days illness.  Funeral eservices 
were conducted from the residence this afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Elijah 
Upton officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill with Poole-McCaleb in charge.  
Pall bearers were Ernest Lehman, Glenn Daly, Willie Esslinger, Bruno Sparks, 
Homer Sparkman and Elmer Sparkman.  The deceased is survived by his father and 
mother, Mr. and Mrs. Newt Brown, two brothers and five sisters, as follows: 
James and Thomas at home, Mrs. May Byrum, Mrs. Sallie Cooke, Mrs. Margaret 
McGee, Mrs. Della Adcock and Mrs. Grace Strickland.
