Clements James S. Clements, age 64 years, died at his home at Lacey’s Springs Thursday morning after a brief illness with pneumonia. Surviving him are five children, Mrs. Robert Hughes and Miss Mary Clements, Huntsville, Ala.; Luke Clements, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Edwin and Almon Clements, Lacey’s Spring. Funeral services will be held at Lacey’s Springs Friday and interment at the Bartee Cemetery. James Sherman Clements James Sherman Clements, aged 64, died this morning at 6:20 o’clock at his home at Lacey’s Springs after an illness of two weeks. The deceased was a prominent farmer of that district having made his home there for twenty three years and he possesses a large number of friends who will be grieved to learn of his death. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Bartee Cemetery at Lacey’s Springs, the Rev. Mr. McDonald officiating with Laughlin and Wood in charge of arrangements. Surviving are three sons, Edwin and Almon at home and a son, Luke of Chattanooga, also a daughter Mrs. Robert Hughes who is affiliated with the DeMasters Grain and Feed Co. of this city and Miss Mary Clements also of this city.
