A member of the First Methodist church, funeral services for Mrs. Holder will be conducted at the residence, 910 Pratt avenue by the Rev. Robert Echols at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon with interment in Maple Hill cemetery. Laughlin and Wood will have charge of arrangements. The following friends of the family will act as pallbearers: Roy Cooper, I. A. Burdette, C. C. Berry, Paul Stiles, J. F. Carroll and E. H. Duffey. Surviving are her husband, Harry Holder and two small sons, Harry Jr., and Victor H.; also two brothers, Early and Frank Fowlkes of Gurley and three sisters, Miss Goldie Fowlkes, Gurley, Mrs. R. K. Sisco and Mrs. M. D. Nance of New Market. The Huntsville Daily Times, Monday, 3 March 1930 --------------------- FUNERAL OF MRS. HOLDER WAS HELD ON SUNDAY --------------------- In the presence of a large, sorrowing group of friends and relatives the body of Mrs. Harry Holder, young Huntsville patron whose death occurred Saturday morning after a lingering illness, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock was returned to its native earth in Maple Hill cemetery. The committal service of the First Methodist Church was read by the Rev. Robert Echols, services being conducted at the home on Pratt Avenue. Many beautiful florals were mute testimonials of the love of friends. The following friends served as pallbearers: Roy Cooper, I. A. Burdette, C. C. Berry, Paul Stiles, J. P. Carroll and E. H. Duffey. Laughlin and Wood were in charge of arrangements. Surviving are her husband, Harry Holder, two small sons, two brothers and three sisters.
