Johnson Thomas L. Johnson, age 69 years, died at the home of his son, Thomas L. Johnson at Farley, Ala., Wednesday after a short illness with pneumonia. The deceased was a well-known farmer of the Farley district and possessed a wide circle of friends who will be grieved to learn of this passing. He was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services were conducted today at one o’clock at the residence of his son with the Rev. Sigman Christian officiating, interment following in Maple Hill cemetery with Poole-McCaleb in charge. Surviving are two daughters and four sons as follows: Mrs. Cora Henderson, Mooresville; Mrs. May Henderson, Decatur; Thomas P., James C., John H., and Charley Johnson all of Farley. The following friends served as pallbearers – Robert Hall, Cecil Price, Charley Price, Harmey Hall, Tracy Hall and Ceyburn Ikard.
