MISS DOROTHY PATTON
  An unusually large number of beautiful florals and the attendance of many 
friends marked the interment services of the late Miss Dorothy Patton 
yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock in Maple Hill cemetery, the Rev. Neill G. 
Stevens officiating.  The following friends served as pallbearers:  M. H. 
Spragins, A. W. White, Clarendon Davis, H. M. Rhett, Ben Lee Young, K. C. 
Rodgers, Shelby I. White and W. W. Newman.  Laughlin and Wood were in charge 
of arrangements.
  Miss Patton’s death occurred in Ajo, Arizona, Thursday evening after an 
extended illness. She was the daughter of Dr. Oliver B. and the late Mrs. 
Patton, the former Miss Carlisle Walker of Kentucky.
