Paul, in Madison Co., Ala., Feb. 4, 1883, WILLIAM PAUL, aged about 26 years. One of this young man’s legs was broken by accident, and, we learn, his doctors advised cutting off the leg; he would not agree to it, but, finally, growing worse, had to submit to it on Sunday last. A few hours after the operation, secondary hemorrhage ensued, and he never rallied from the loss of blood. We had not the pleasure of acquaintance with him, but learn from his neighbors, that he was a most estimable young man, sober, industrious, a model son and brother, and a good Christian. May God solace his family in their sore bereavement.
