  SCRIMSHER.—Died, at her home in the Big Cove, Jan. 15, 1883, after over two 
years’ illness, Miss MILDRED EVALINE SCRIMSHER, in her 51st year.
  In youth, she became a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and 
spent her days in the service of her Heavenly Father, and, at her death, calmly 
and quietly resigned herself into His hands, trusting in His mercy and 
goodness, through Christ, for eternal salvation.
