Southern Advocate, Huntsville, AL, June 23, 1832
Died -- On Thursday last, in this place, after a lingering illness of a 
pulmonary nature, Thomas J. Sumner, Esq. senior editor of the "Democrat."  He 
has left a wife and one child to mourn their loss.
