Montgomery Advertiser, April 28, 1908
Huntsville, Alabama, April 27 -- Henry C. Weaver, Secretary of the Grand 
Lodge, Independent Order Odd Fellows of Alabama, died very suddenly tonight 
after sustaining a stroke of paralysis.  This evening as he was walking up 
stairs to his office, he fell backwards and was caught by a friend who found 
that he had lost consciousness.  A blood vessel in his brain ruptured and he 
died within an hour.  Mr. Weaver was fifty-six years old and had been 
Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows a dozen years, being one of the 
most popular men who ever filled that position.  He was also prominent in 
numerous other secret orders.
