Mr. Windham was a native of Gainesville, Ala., and has been living in this city for some years, having filled the office of tax commissioner of Madison County with satisfaction and ability. His remains were interred in the Maple Hill Cemetery on Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Rev. Dr. Banister officiating.
