WOOD—In Montgomery, Ala., June 10, 1882, MISS NINETTE M. WOOD, daughter of 
Mrs. John H. Wager, of Huntsville, Ala., in the 20th year of her age.
  Deceased left Huntsville about four weeks ago to visit relatives and friends 
in Montgomery.  Within two days of her arrival there, she was taken suddenly 
and violently ill with typhoid fever, and, despite the best medical skill and 
attention of loving relatives, after lingering in great agony for over three 
weeks, her spirit left its earthly tenement, returned to its Maker, and her 
sufferings were over.  Her remains were interred in the Montgomery Cemetery on 
Monday last.  She had many friends here who are greatly grieved at her early 
demise.  She united with the Baptist Church in this city some time ago, and 
was a consistent member of it till her death.  May God console the bereaved 
family in their affliction.
