The Huntsville Weekly Democrat, 19 October 1881
RUSSELL – BOWERS. – Mr. Jason K. Russell and Miss Fannie Bowers, of Morgan 
Co., attended by her brother, came to the Huntsville Fair, last week.  Instead 
of sealing their vows in the bowers of love in Morgan, they chose Huntsville 
as their Gretna Green, and were married at the Huntsville Hotel, Oct. 14, 
1881, by Rev. J. A. B. Lovett.  May the course of their true love ever run 
smooth, and bear them to a haven of happiness.
