Brooks and Alton L. Bingham were quietly married Saturday evening at eight o’clock at the residence of the Rev. John J. Milford, pastor of the First Baptist Church on Randolph street. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Bingham left by motor on a short honeymoon trip and upon their return will be at home to their friends in the Geron apartments. Mrs. Bingham is the accomplished daughter of Dr. and Mrs. O. J. Brooks and is well-known in musical and social circles here. She is possessed of a voice of rare charm and beauty and has studied for sometime abroad. The groom is a young business man of this city being connected with the Huntsville Ice Cream and Creamery Company. The young couple have the cordial good wishes of a host of friends for a long and happy life together. The bride was dressed in a traveling costume of blue crepe with harmonizing accessories.
