Dallas Ditty, solemnized in Huntsville on December 31st, was of much interest here to the large number of friends of the groom who has made his home in Decatur for about eighteen month. The wedding was a very quiet but impressive affair with only a small number present. Mr. and Mrs. Ditty will be at home at 317 Jackson street. Miss Getty was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Getty, of Summerville, Pa., where her father is president of the Union National Bank. She is a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania College for Women at Pittsburgh, Pa. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Ditty, of Summerville, Pa., graduated at the Dickinson Law School at Carlisle, Pa., in June, 1928, continuing his studies in the office of Almon and Almon. He stood the state bar examination in February, 1929, and was admitted to practice law in Alabama on April 1, 1929. He is a great nephew of C. M. Carrier, of Florida, who has large business holdings in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Ditty are very attractive and will make quite a delightful addition to the younger married social set in the city.—Decatur Daily.
