The Huntsville Weekly Democrat
  Mrs. EMILY B. HILL, of Huntsville, Ala., went, a few weeks ago, to South Ala. 
to be present at the nuptials of a relative.  Reaching her destination, she met 
with Mr. SAMUEL LEWIS CRESWELL, a brother-in-law of her sister, Julia who, 
attracted by her personal graces and mental accomplishments, wooed and won 
her.  They were married by Rev. John Corley at his residence at Harpersville, 
Shelby Co., Ala. Oct, 4, 1883.  If we are not mistaken, Mr. Cresswell was our 
college mate at the University of Alabama in the session of 1836-7.  We extend 
our friends heartiest congratulations and good wishes.
