At the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Carrie Karthaus, in this city, Miss 
Emilie S. Karthaus and Dr. Geo. H. Fox were married on Thursday afternoon at 4 
o’clock.  Rev. J. M .Banister officiating.  The happy couple left on the 6:15 
train for Philadelphia, their future home.
The bride is one of our loveliest girls, accomplished, intellectual, amiable, 
and as beautiful in person as character.  The groom is spoken of highly as a 
man and physician.  Their romance began in 1898 when the groom was here with 
the soldiers as a volunteer.
May happiness be showered upon them!
