H. St. Clair, a well known mill man and merchant at Hurricane to Miss Rebecca Moon of the latter place on next Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1930, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Know in Tallassee. The hour of the wedding will be 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon. The bride-elect is a fair and beautiful woman and has quite a few friends in Madison county where she has visited a number of times, especially during the past three years. Miss Moon’s visits in the Hurricane community have always been attended with interest and social attention. At Tallassee, the native home of Miss Moon she has a wide circle of friends and many well to do and prominent relatives. Miss Moon’s mother is still living at the age of 78 years and enjoys fairly good health. Mr. St. Clair is one of our county’s well known and substantial citizens, his activities in the milling and merchandizing business at Hurricane having made friends for him with enjoying business relations with him and besides he is active in other lines. He believes in conducting business on the square and prides himself on his good name. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. St. Clair will make their home at Hurricane.
