VANDEVENTER-PHILLIPS.—At 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1882, by the Rev. John A. 
Thompson, at the residence of the bride’s father, Jas. A. Phillips near 
Cluttsville, in this county, Mr. GEORGE D. VANDEVENTER of Huntsville, to Miss 
MAIE J. PHILLIPS.
  George has been Foreman in the Democrat office, a good printer and clever 
fellow.  He and his bonny bride must have been under lucky * *.  We ? the 
opportunity to give our hand in hearty congratulations and best wishes.  He 
and his bride are at his father’s, Mr. John D. VandeVenter’s in this city.
