Estes ==================================================================== December 2001 Sullens Cemetery, Marion county, Alabama This cemetery is listed as Burleson Cemetery on the County Highway Map. If you know the official name please let me know where I can have it changed here and in my personal cemetery database. Directions: From downtown Winfield take Highway 253 North 13 miles. Turn right at 4 way stop sign. Onto County Highway 253 North go 4 miles and turn right onto County Road 7. Go .4 miles and Burlason Cemetery is on the Left. Burlason Cemetery is about 100 feet off the road in a small field. Location: 16 Miles North of Winfield and East of Hamilton off Highway 278. NOTE: I talked to a gentleman that has lived near this cemetery most of his life. His GG grandparents were buried there. He did not know the official name to this cemetery. However, he did say that the John Burlason family was one of the first families to settle in the area. NOTE: I was also told, that there are more buried in this cemetery than listed below.
