GUIN TIME TABLE No. 1 East bound 4:26 p.m. No. 2 West bound - 10:52 p.m. H. T. CLARK The above named man has seen proper to assail the proprietor of the Herald, on account of certain notices or locals that have appeared in its columns against him. Now we have this to say, that the columns of the Herald shows who is the editor of the sheet, and the said H. T. CLARK should have sense enough to know who is responsible for the articles that appeared in the issue of Dec. 6th. We, DANIEL WILLIAMS, wrote the article and we alone are responsible for the issue of Dec. the 6th. If Mr. CLARK is aggrieved as to what appeared in said issue he should seek the editor and not the proprietor of the Herald, who did not know what was in that issue until it had been printed. We made our statement from the Montgomery Advertiser which is the paid organ of the state, and we still say that nay man who would ask to have the liquor license law of the state repealed as far as it applied to this county, is a fit subject to ask for the passage of the four bills that we suggested The said H. T. CLARK has never asked us for space in which to reply, and we have only attacked his public record, and we being a public man in a public position have criticized his acts, and will continue to do so as long as he is a public servant. If we have ever asked his private record we are sorry of it, and for what we have said, and wish we had said more so we could take it back. But when the gentleman (?) feels aggrieved and wants to address we say come to see the editor of the Herald and not the proprietor. DANIEL WILLIAMS W. H. KEY.
