HAMILTON It is with sincere regret that we chronicle the death of Mr. WILLIAM H. HAMILTON, which sad event occurred at his home nine miles west of Hamilton on last Monday morning at 9 o’clock, at the advanced age of seventy-five years. For some months he had been afflicted with dropsy and his suffering was great up to the final hour. “Uncle Billie” as he was commonly known, was an honorable, upright man, like and much respected by all who knew him. In his death the county loses one of its oldest and best citizens. A wife and six children are left to mourn his departure. The remains, followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends, were taken to the old family burying ground where they will rest until the morn of the resurrection. May a gracious God mete out comfort to the bereaved wife and children.
