He was so unfortunate some days ago to lose his dwelling house by fire, and in it burned his baby child. All of the family large enough to work were in the field picking cotton when they saw that their house was in flames. Mrs. MILES ran into the burning house after her child, but it was burned so badly that it died in an hour. Mrs. MILES was burned very badly in her efforts to save her child, but it is hoped she will recover from her injuries.
