KILLED HIS LITTLE COUSIN
On 31st inst, a sad accident happened near Allen’s Factory in this county which 
spread a gloom over the entire community.  OBE MORGAN, a thoughtless youth of 
fifteen, while handling a rifle which he supposed unloaded, playfully presented 
it at his little cousin EMMIE MORGAN, who was lying on a bed sick. The gun went 
off, shooting her in the eye, causing death in a short time.
	OBE MORGAN is the son of Mr. H. MORGAN, who is well known in the 
county.  The little girl was his niece; about eleven years old and had no 
parents living.  The distressed family have the sympathy of the entire 
community.
