WM. RODEN, son of VINCENT RODEN, of Marion County, was fatally shot by BYRON 
LEATH, near Abram Myer’s residence, 18 miles west of Jasper, Sunday evening 
last.  He was shot through the body and survived about 24 hours. The killing 
seems to have been from sudden altercation. LEATH we learn has fled the
