W. T. WHITE, formerly of this place, a son of JOHN E. WHITE, one of our best 
citizens, died at his home in Gurdon, Ark. on October 21.  He died very 
suddenly.  He leaves a wife and three children.  Mr. WHITE has a clever, high-
minded gentleman. He had just finished paying for a home near Gurdon, and was 
in a position to enjoy this life surrounded by his family in his adopted state, 
but it was the lord’s will for him to be taken away, and we weak mortals have 
no right to question His will.
