To any Minister of the Gospel , Judge of the Supreme or Circuit Court, or 
Chancellor of the said State, Judge of Probate or any Justice of the Peace of 
said county, Greetings:
You are hereby authorized to celebrate the Rites of Matrimony between John F. 
Carden and Mary Campbell and this shall be your sufficient authority for so 
doing .
Given under my hand and seal , this 24th day of July 1905 and of American 
Independence the 130th year.

The above named parties were married by me at Book Campbell on the 25th of

Know all men by these presents , that we, John F. Carden, Geo. R. Burton, are 
held and firmly bound , unto the State of Alabama in the sum of two hundred 
dollars , to which payment well and truely to be made, we bind ourselves , our 
heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns jointly and severally, firmly by 
these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 24th of July 1905.
The condition of the above Oblication is such, that if there be no legal cause 
to obstruct the marriage of John F. Carden and Mary Campbell to whom a License 
has this day been granted, then to be void; else to remain in full force and 
virtue.
Witness our hands and seals, the day and year above written.
