Carden and Mary Campbell and this shall be your sufficient authority for so doing . Given under my hand and seal , this 24th day of July 1905 and of American Independence the 130th year. Campbell Bear Creek Ala. July 24th To the Judge of Probate, Please let my son John Carden have license to marry Mary Campbell, age 18 J.P. Carden Know all men by these presents , that we, John F. Carden, Geo. R. Burton, are held and firmly bound , unto the State of Alabama in the sum of two hundred dollars , to which payment well and truely to be made, we bind ourselves , our heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 24th of July 1905. The condition of the above Oblication is such, that if there be no legal cause to obstruct the marriage of John F. Carden and Mary Campbell to whom a License has this day been granted, then to be void; else to remain in full force and virtue. Witness our hands and seals, the day and year above written.
