There are only 11 graves to date. To get there from Albertville, start at the intersection of Hwys 431 & 75, and go north on Hwy 75 for about 1/2 mile; turn left onto Martling Rd at the light. Go about 11 miles (this road twists and turns a lot, and has several one lane bridges; be careful)to Williams Bend Rd. The church and cemetery can be seen from the intersection. s/a = same stone as Last Name First Name Middle Name Birth Death Comment -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Childress A B 'Buster' 11-16-1908 4-8-1985 s/a Sadie Lee Childress Sadie Lee 4-11-1909 No date s/a AB Childress Paul 3-3-1944 No date s/a Flo Butler Childress Flo Butler 4-11-1950 8-14-1994 'I'm Free' picture of Flo on stone s/a Paul Owens Persh 12-27-1918 No date s/a Verla Owens Verla 12-22-1921 No date s/a Persh m. 7-11-1939 Tisdale Earl N, Jr 9-12-1941 8-10-2000 'Dad' Back of stone says 'Hawkeye' Kennedy Mamie 3-21-1923 11-23-2000 'Sisters' s/a Elah Gunter Gunter Elah 2-15-1932 11-12-2002 s/a Mamie Kennedy Stone Thomas Leroy 10-4-1985 3-18-2004 '#1 Ace Mechanic' 'Huckabuck' Pict. of Thomas & engravings of tools, computer, and a restored car Stone Terria Deann 12-17-1989 6-1-2004 'Tootie Butt' picture of Terria on stone engravings of basketball & hoop, and basketball shirt File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/al/marshall/cemeteries/gcm196highpoin.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/alfiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
