Continue on 227 when it turns right towards Dekalb County. From the turn, drive 2.2 miles. On your right is a deeply rutted dirt road or track, descending into the woods. There is ample parking on the road shoulder. follow the dirt road a few yards into the woods, bearing right when the road forks. Within a hundred feet are the 11 graves, almost hidden in underbrush. The cemetery has not been cleared off in several years. Someone planted the ground cover vinca and it has spread over several acres. Small bunches of daffodils and wild mayapple show thru the vines. 1. John F. Smith-March 23, 1871-May 18, 1871 2. Clemen C.C. Smith-December 4, 1880-January 24, 1881 3. James D.
