Mrs. Myra E. Coleman Burns, 17 formerly of Scant City and Guntersville, died 
June 15 at Brookley Field Hospital on the army base at Mobile. Mrs. Burns had 
lived in Mobile the last 8 years. She is Survived by her husband, Sgt. Eugene R 
Burns; their daughter, Carol Elaine; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Coleman, 2 
sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Isaacson and Doris Jean Coleman all of Mobile. Relatives 
from Guntersville and Arab who attended the funeral wree: Her grandmother, Mrs. 
Callie Cook, aunts and uncles, and 2 cousins. Mrs. W. R. Coleman of Arab, and 
several aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Mortuary 
chapel, June 17, with burial in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile.
