"Arbert Ledbetter

He was on the board of directors for the perpetual care fund of Free Home 
Cemetery. And before he died, Arbert Lawson Ledbetter asked that at his 
death donations be made to that fund in lieu of flowers.

Mr. Ledbetter of Tin Top Road, Grant, died Friday morning at his daughter's 
home. He was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago. He was 83.  He was a charter 
member of the Free Home perpetual care program when it formed. He was a 
retired state employee. He was very active in the Senior Citizens program 
at the Grant Rec Center.

He'd lived at Grant all his life. He was the son of the late Daniel Hobson 
Ledbetter and Eliza Emaline Fletcher Ledbetter. His wife Rubye died 11 ½ years ago.

Mr. Ledbetter was a member of the Grant Church of Christ.  Survivors include
2 daughters, a son, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Bro. Mike Jones and Bro. Clayton Tuggle conducted the funeral Sunday at the Grant 
Church of Christ. The Clayton Tuggle Singers sang. Burial was in Free Home Cemetery 
with Grant Memorial Chapel funeral home directing."
