Mary Elizabeth Wileman
Published Thursday, January 30, 1969 in The Boaz Leader
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wileman of 1406 Cave Springs Road, Rome, Ga., died Monday 
at the residence following a short illness.  Funeral services were held 
Wednesday at 2: p. m. from the Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Marshall 
County with the Revs. Dislow Jacobs and Grady Scott officiating.  Burial was in 
the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ivalee Shahan, Rome, Ga., Mrs. Ila Velle 
Swindall, Gadsden, Mrs. Nona Jewell Vaughn, Altoona; sons Andrew Wileman, 
Detriot, Mich., and Freeman Wileman, Yoakum, Texas; sister, Mrs. Litha Ann 
Ingram, Altoona; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-
grandchildren.
Mrs. Wileman was a native of Marshall County, a resident of Etowah County most 
of her life, and had resided in Rome, Ga. For the past year.  She was amember 
of the Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church.
