This family plot is heavily overgrown with trees, grass and azalea bushes. According to the caretaker (Nubia) of the house on the property, she is supposed to keep it cleanned out and mowed but she does not have the tools to do so. Nubia said the property now belongs to Springhill College. The plot is surrounded by a chain link fence with a padlocked gate. Vandals have cut the fence recently and Nubia has not yet reported it. This listing is complete as of May 31, 2001, when I surveyed the cemetery and recorded these tombstones. There are seven (7) marked graves. According to Nubia there are no unmarked graves here. All of the tombstones are large crosses. Mother's cross has a crown on it. I have taken the liberty of adding information in () parenthesis of which I have personal knowledge from my genealogy research, {} brackets is information from Mobile Probate Court Marriage Records, [] square brackets is information from the Mobile Register Obituary Column, or ({}) parenthesis brackets is information from other sources. Those individuals entered with (*#1) behind the name do not have a headstone. That individual's information was taken from funeral home records or sent to me via e-mail from family members. Any information in this listing that is not on the tombstone will always be found with a designating mark. Davis, Margaret Forman, b. 11 Feb 1894, d 12 Jul 1976, d/o M.
