GURGANUS FAMILY CEMETERY
Legal Location: T3S R2W SEC 16    LONG. 30° 45' 43" N  LAT. 88° 08' 17" W

Gurganus Family Cemetery, Eight Mile, Mobile County, Alabama.  Directions from Bel AirMall, Mobile, Alabama, 
Depart Bel Air Mall on Bel Air Blvd  (North) and travel .2 miles. Turn LEFT (West) onto Airport Blvd. and travel 
.6 miles. At I-65 Exit 1/Airport Blvd Exit, turn RIGHT (North) onto I-65 and travel 4.8 miles. At I-65 Exit 8/US-
45, turn LEFT (North-West) onto US-45 [SR-17] and travel 2.1 miles. Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-217 [Lott Rd] and 
travel .5 miles. Turn LEFT onto Darlene Ave. and travel .1 mile. Go 1/10 of a mile off the road into the woods.

It is surrounded by a chain link fence. This listing is compiled from a survey done in June 1998 and contains all 
visible burials. This cemetery is no longer used and is not maintained. Last known burial in 1953.
