                                           E. Maddox.
                                           Contempt of Court

	Mr. _______ Pierce the father of one Maude Pierce, having this day 
appeared before the judge of this court and stated that one Tom Fincher had 
obtained a marraige license to intermarry with the said Maude Pierce, and had 
made an erroneous statement as to the said Maude Pierce's age, stating that 
she was 19 years of age when in realty she is only 17 years of age; and its 
appearing to the court, after an inspection of its records that the said Tom 
Fincher and E. Maddox did make such erroneous statement as to the age of the 
said Maude Pierce, it is considered and decreed by the court that the said Tom 
Fincher and E. Maddox are in contempt of this court.
	It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed that an Instanter 
Subponea forthwith issue to the said Tom Fincher and E. Maddox notifying them 
to appear before the Judge of this court without delay to do and receive what 
shall then and there be considered in the premises.
