Mr. Hardy Houston Creel, Sr.

A native of Grand Bay, Alabama, for a number of years, died at his residence 
Monday, May 24, 1976. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della Mae Wiggins Creel, 
Grand Bay, Alabama; three daughters and five sons, 21 grandchildren, 32 great 
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be 
held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Thursday, May 27, 1976 at 2 p.m. 
Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Friends may call for visitation 
at the Funeral Home, after 4 p.m. Wednesday, Funeral arrangements by Radney 
Funeral Home, Dauphin St. extention, Mobile, Alabama.

Note from Pat Creel: The surname Creel and Creal were used on all family 
records. 
Mrs. Della Mae (Wiggins) Creel died Jan 1993 from Choctaw County, AL.
Hardy was son of Elijah Creel and Vina (Dearman) Creel Stapleton. Vina was born 
in Lauderdale County, MS. 
Preceied in death by his son John Creel; and twin daughters Lottie and Lolla, 
and Ester Creal Felts; sisters Leona and Julia; brothers John Wesley Creel, H. 
M. Creel and Brown Creel. Father-in-law Christopher C. Wiggins; mother-in-law 
Martha Owen.
