Mobile Register, February 15, 1931
Phillip Leipf, a native of Whistler, died Saturday morning at 4 o'clock after 
a lingering illness.  He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. E.M. Gosson and Mrs. 
T.J. Price, both of Mobile; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Davis of Whistler, and 
other relatives.  Funeral services were held from the Higgins & Conditt 
Funeral Home Monday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. G.W. Kerlin of the 
Whistler Methodist Church officiating. The following served as pallbearers: 
J.A. Dumas, G.C. Parnell. W.T. Parnell, W.C. Beck, J.W. Beck, and William 
Vanderbrook. Interment was in the Whistler Cemetery.
