Died suddenly at home. Funeral held from residence, 20 King's Way, Spring Hill (Mobile), AL. Roche Mortuary - Magnolia Cemetery - Mobile, AL. Born - Pensacola, FL [27 Mar 1894]. Veteran employee of McGowin-Lyons Hardware and Supply Co. - 1920 until his death, when he was manager of building supply department. A widely known resident of Spring Hill. Survivors: his widow, Mrs. Louise Barclay McConnell; three sons, Lieut. Robert L[owden] McConnell[Jr.]and Lieut. Ernest B[arclay] McConnell, both of the U. S. Army, and Richard C[hristian] McConnell of Spring Hill; two brothers, Thomas H[enry] McConnell of New York and Walter B[urke] McConnell of St. Louis. Additional Comments: The three sons listed were Frank R. McConnell's step-sons. His widow, Louise Barclay McConnell was previously married to his brother, Robert L. McConnell, Sr., who drowned at a young age and was the father of the sons mentioned in this notice. Frank McConnell had no children.
