T. White, 74, Dies After Long Illness Oliphant Todd White, 76, native of Mobile county, Ala., and resident of Biloxi since 1904, died at 2:45 today at his home, 423 East Howard avenue. Mr. White operated several small grocery stores and was a contractor and cabinet maker. He operated planning mills in Biloxi and Ocean Springs. Mr. White established the Specialty Cabinet shop in 1919 which today is known as White Hardware Co. Mr. White is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helen Vignes, Mrs. Hilda Switzer, Mrs. Ida Lapp, Biloxi; grandchildren, John Austin Switzer, John Todd Vignes, Victor Vignes, Mrs. Dorothy Brashear; a great-grandchild, Linda Brashear; and a brother, Warren White, Biloxi. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bradford Funeral Home by Rev. E. A. DeMiller. Burial will be in Biloxi Cemetery.
