Per her death certificate, Josephine Whitmann Espalla was born Oct 7, 1856.  The 1900 
Census in Mobile had her birthdate as November 1859.  She died Jan 28, 1942 in Mobile.
She was a daughter of Louise King & Phillip Whitmann, Sr.

Joseph H. Espalla, per his death certificate, died Dec 17, 1935, age 75 years, 7 months,
and 10 days.  His parents were Joseph Espalla and Mary Martin.

From census records their children were:

Joseph G., born May 1886
Josephine, born Jun 1888
Irma L., born Mar 1892

Irma married John E. Crabtree and Josephine married Hjolmer John Christofferson, a ship's captain.
