Sarah Ann Stephens is buried in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery in 
Calhoun County, AL, only a few feet from the back church wall.  Her tombstone 
says:  Sarah Ann Stephens / Nov. 12, 1823/ Apr. 28, 1888 / Having finished 
life's duty she now sweetly rests.

Sarah Ann's husband Overton Stephens moved to Crenshaw County after her death 
and is buried in Rutledge. Her daughter Elizabeth Davis moved to Mobile. 

Additional Comments:
Sarah's daughter Elizabeth Stephens Davis and five of her children (Bill, 
Obie, Leige, Hattie, and Johnnie)lived in Mobile where many descendants still 
reside today.
