Jemima Broughton born abt 1765 SC to Edward Nathaniel Broughton & Elizabeth 
Ragan married 1st- John Cannon and had at least 8 children:
Edward 1786
Nathaniel Matt 1790
Sarah 1794
Joshua A 1785
David 1804
John E 1804
Flora 1804
After John's death before 1807 in Sumter Co SC, Jamima married John Runnels 
and had at least Ann B Nancy 1807.
Some time after this, the family migrated to Monroe Co. Al. They left by 
Wagon train, and on the route, stopped off for supplies at the Fort in 
Greene Co Ga.  3 of her brothers and 3 of her sons, decided to stay here.
Joshia, Edward and John Cannon, all settled in Ga, while the others went on 
to Monroe. Later John migrated to Al, as well as one of her brothers.
The family married in Monroe to the Kennedy,Kearley,Boatright,Nettles and
