There are two hugh magnolia trees on either side of the cemetery and a very old iron work fence with a small gate surrounds the cemetery proper. Not quite in the center of the plot is a tall obelisk monument with engraved names and dates of the family. Smaller upright rectangular stones surround the center monument, most with initials only, which mark the actual burial sites. There are a number of unmarked graves, 5 of which have been somewhat located. The rows are not completely in line with each other. It is believed that there are 26 people buried here, and quite possibly more.) Back Row: ( Quite a bit of Unmarked ground - Calvin Powe may be buried in this area of the cemetery, since it is in close proximity to his wife's grave in the next row.) 'Come Ye Blessed' John D DuBose May 20, 1820 March 5, 1902 'Borne by angel hands away to a home of peace and joy.'
